Competitive Employment Project

 


 

The Oregon Competitive Employment Project seeks to enhance the quality of life in Oregon by achieving, maintaining and advancing the competitive and inclusive employment of persons with disabilities. The project is funded by a four-year Medicaid Infrastructure Grant from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and is part of the Oregon Department of Human Services, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services.

Work Incentives Network (WIN!), Oregon's Benefits and Work Incentives Planning System

 

Oregon's Work Incentive Network Project Review Jan. 31, 2011 

The Competitive Employment Project contracted with Jo-Ann Sowers from Portland State University's Regional Research Institute in 2010 to evaluate the Work Incentive Network. The study utilized data from State of Oregon Unemployment Insurance records for 310 WIN participants enrolled in services between July 1 and Oct. 31, 2009; research by the Department of Human Services, Division of Medical Assistance Programs, Research and Analysis Unit, as well as telephone interviews with a sample of 85 WIN participants enrolled in services between July 1, 2009 and Oct. 31, 2010.
